Biografie
Richard Anthony „Cheech“ Marin (* 13. Juli 1946) ist ein US-amerikanischer Geschäftsmann, Unternehmer, Komiker und Schauspieler. Bekannt wurde er in den 1970er und frühen 1980er Jahren als Teil des Comedy-Duos Cheech & Chong und als Don Johnsons Partner, Inspektor Joe Dominguez, in der Fernsehserie „Nash Bridges“. Er lieh außerdem Figuren in mehreren Disney-Filmen seine Stimme, darunter „Oliver & Co.“, „Der König der Löwen“, „Cars“ und dessen Fortsetzung aus dem Jahr 2011. Sein starker mexikanisch-amerikanischer Akzent ist Teil seiner Bühnenfigur und nicht sein natürlicher Akzent.
