Biografie
Eric Roberts, älterer Bruder von Julia Roberts, ist ein amerikanischer Schauspieler, der in über 130 Filmen und Serien mitgewirkt hat. Seinen größten Erfolg feierte er 1985 als Strafgefangener im Actiondrama Express in die Hölle (1985) von Andrei Konchalovsky, für das er mit einer Oscarnominierung bedacht wurde. Nach persönlichen Problemen und polizeilich festgehaltenen Auffälligkeiten spielte Eric Roberts fast ausschließlich in B-Filmen wie Karate Tiger IV – Best of the Best (1989). Neben Sylvester Stallone gelang dem Schauspieler als Schurke im Actionspektakel The Expendables 2010 ein kleines Comeback im Kino.
