Biografie
Leslie Odom Jr. ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler und Sänger. Er trat am Broadway sowie in Film und Fernsehen auf und veröffentlichte zwei Solo-Jazzalben. Bekannt wurde er durch seine Rolle als Aaron Burr im Broadway-Musical „Hamilton“, für die er 2016 den Tony Award als Bester Hauptdarsteller in einem Musical und als einer der Hauptsänger den Grammy Award für das Beste Musical-Theater-Album gewann. Zu seinen Fernsehrollen zählt die des Sam Strickland in der Musicalserie „Smash“ (2012–2013). Er ist außerdem Autor des 2018 erschienenen Buches „Failing Up“.
