Biografie

Niall Tóibín war ein irischer Komiker und Schauspieler. Geboren in Cork in eine irischsprachige Familie, wuchs Tóibín im Norden der Stadt in Bishop’s Field auf. 1957 heiratete er Judy Kenny (1931–2001). Er hatte fünf Kinder und sieben Enkelkinder. Seine Schauspielkarriere erstreckte sich über vier Jahrzehnte und war äußerst erfolgreich. Am 29. Oktober 2002 wurde er mit dem CFT Excellence Award als Bester Schauspieler ausgezeichnet.
